Biography
Ms. Hunt is an Alpine Saxon Woods Founding Partner and Chief Market Strategist, responsible for developing, communicating, and executing the company’s investment strategies and helping clients meet their investing goals. She has over 25 years of experience in various capacities within the investment industry.
Prior to launching Alpine Saxon Woods, Ms. Hunt was a Portfolio Manager at Alpine Woods Capital Investors for the Alpine Woods Growth Values, L.P., as well as the Alpine Woods Momentum long-only and long-short products. She also served as Associate Portfolio Manager for the Alpine Dynamic Dividend Fund and as an equity analyst for the Alpine Global Dynamic Dividend Fund and the Alpine Total Dynamic Dividend Fund. Prior to that, Ms. Hunt was Senior Vice President of equity research at Capital Management Associates, working on institutional and individual client portfolios as well as equity mutual funds.
Earlier in her career, she was an assistant to institutional brokers at Prudential Securities, working with clients in investment management, including banks and hedge funds. As a graduate research assistant at Fordham University, Ms. Hunt worked with Senior Fellow and author Marion Pinsdorf on All Crises Are Global: Managing to Escape Chaos. Ms. Hunt earned her degree in Economics from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from Fordham University, as well as her CFA Charter in 1997.
